JOB PURPOSE

To ensure compliant, detailed, and organized execution of the fleet operations department initiatives.

ESSENTIAL RESULTS

Ensure 100% compliance to DOT and company repair log standards by:

  • Organizing and inputting completed work orders and other information regarding repairs into the company systems.
  • Ensuring input Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports are given to the appropriate parties for repair and follow-up.
  • Maintaining updated and accurate logs for repairs as required by the Department of Transportation.

 

Maintain an accurate parts inventory in the assigned shop by:

  • Entering parts orders into the company system.
  • Ensuring the parts room is clean and organized.
  • Completing a monthly parts inventory accurately and promptly.

 

 Maintain a clean and organized shop office by:

  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning windows in the shop as needed.
  • Reporting potential safety hazards to management.

 

Perform back up duties when management is out of the office by:

  • Being the primary contact for company fleet concerns when management is unavailable.
  • Notifies management when issues arise that demand immediate attention.

 

Maintain and increase customer satisfaction by:

  • Demonstrating a highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrating a passion for excellence with respect to caring for customers.
  • Having a pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude.
  • Demonstrating strong communication/listening skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Administration experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the transportation industry, DOT rules and regulations preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Organization with exceptional record keeping
