Ensures timely and consistent customer load deliver by:

  • Scheduling loads to drivers based on priority through TMW.
  • Communicating load needs to drivers through TMW/PeopleNet.
  • Discussing load changes with drivers as needs arise.

Ensures retail customers stay fueled at all times by:

  • Monitoring inventory levels at retail locations.
  • Prioritizing loads based on fuel levels and contractual obligations.
  • Communicating with customers to discuss immediate fueling needs as required.

Keeps all parties aware of needed load details by:

  • Reporting to management in regards to strengths/weaknesses of immediate load fulfillment.

Maintains and increases customer satisfaction by:

  • Demonstrating a highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrating a passion for excellence with respect to caring for customers.
  • Having a pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude.

  • 1 year of dispatch experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the transportation industry, DOT rules and regulations preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Positive demeanor
  • Ability to adapt to change in duties as needs arise
  • Clear communication style that conveys information effectively
  • Willingness to accept broader duties when needed
  • Ability to complete work within specific time frames
  • Advanced computer skills


  • Frequently required to sit, talk, and hear
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Occasionally required to reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pound of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force to constantly move objects.
  • Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, reading and visual inspection.
  • The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
